Been going back and forth on this for a while now. Early in Summer ‘19 I began to notice that when I woke up in the morning my face would almost feel hot and I would have a headache most of the time. It takes a few hours to fully wake up and get past this feeling. I would say I hardly wake up feeling rested despite sleeping 8-9 hours a night on average. In this ~9 months I’ve cut out caffeine and alcohol almost entirely. I’m a long distance runner and in good health otherwise. Over the course of this time period I’ve also started to struggle with anxiety (taking many active steps to address that). I am definitely a heavy mouth breather, but have never had any issues with snoring or the like.
Is there a chance I could have sleep apnea? Should I get tested?
