Test results show sleep apnea, but not bad enough for a machine? Can Benadryl have messed up me results ?

Did taking Benadryl before my in lab study make me sleep better then I normally do?

Quick back story, two at home sleep studies were inconclusive cause I didn’t sleep enough. So considering that and the fact that I wasn’t in my own bed I took a Benadryl to help me fall asleep. And figured I slept probably better then I normally ever do. But did this give my study some false numbers ? Or would it not matter

I snore and even woke my self up before trying to catch my breath. Doctor confirmed I have a upper air way respiratory restriction from lookin into my mouth and said my tongue was large.

My ahi was 4.6 and rem ahi was 5.4

Also my periodic limb movements ( legs ) was 6.3 and she said it may also be the cause for my wake ups.

She said my insurance won’t approve a cpap but possibly May approve a mouth piece
