AHI around 1.5 but notice around 2-5 obstructive events that last 25-35 seconds each.

I have now increased both my minimum and maximum settings by 1cm H2O each. Possibly more in the near future, whatever OSCAR spits back at me. My AHI is in good standing but I am concerned why quite a bit of my obstructive events are quite lengthy even with CPAP therapy. I'm concerned because the longer you don't take a breath, the more severe oxygen desaturation. I was just reading a study showing that patients with longer mean hypopnea-apnea durations are at significantly increased risk for high blood pressure.

I have been struggling with hard to control high blood pressure for about 4 years now. I am a 25 year old male who is in good shape. So I am going to give a higher pressure range a try and see if I notice any improvement sleep wise, if I'm more refreshed waking up, and if my blood pressure slowly creeps down in the next month.

Is my plan a good one or am I over reacting and should not mess with settings with an AHI of 1.5 even with 30 second+ long obstructive events?

Edit: I am using ResMed Airsense 10 (APAP mode)
