He's got pretty bad SA and has been properly diagnosed and everything, he's a super healthy weight with an immaculate diet so that's out.
He has a CPAP he's been using for a good few months and his issue is he keeps being pumped full of air by the machine. He's been back to the hospital to discus it and was given an automated CPAP that doesn't require you to set it to anything it reads your breath by itself and adjusts accordingly and still had the same issue.
He's tried every sleeping position there is, the CPAP's only wake him up every hour of 2, he can't breath without the machine so I've suggested looking into a mouth piece but they're looking to be pretty damn expensive. Does anyone here with SA that's not diet related have any experience with the mouth pieces, do they work? If so which is the better option?
