Old Pro feels like a rookie

i have been on cpap over 2 years. I took to it very quickly. I was exhausted so when I finally got through the testing and got the machine I jumped right in and it was all great. In late January 2020, I had a couple of nights where the air in the mask just felt like an invisible brick that lets no air move. I chalked it up to a bad night but it has been getting worse and worse since then. I repeatedly remove the hose from my full face mask to get some deep breadths in, but I just can't get comfortable once it is on. I have increased and decreased the pressure, tied different humidity, but once the mask is on, I can't seem to get air. I tried calming myself and shallow breathing and cracking the seal to get a bit more air. Sometimes I can fall asleep but if I get up to take a leak I am probably not going to be able to get back under. What do you suggest fellow cPapers? I might try an old nose mask. I should of course go see my doctor but with what is going on I don't want to take their focus from that. Possible other points, I have lost some weight but I still snore without mask. How can I tell if the machine is working right? Thanks folks!
