It's worth mentioning that the two times the polysomnography was done, they made me sleep at night(my regular sleep time is like 5a.m) so they gave me a zolpidem(ambien) to fall asleep and even then i only slept like 4 hours or so , which is enough for the study, BUT I wouldn't consider that any deep sleep, especially since i was so uncomfortable. That said, even if the polysomnography was correct, I still have these symptoms:
Objective:Wake up with a hangover, headache, groggy, brainfog and fatigue during the day, very Dry Mouth and actually very dehydrated, even though i have a lot of water before bed. Subjective:Wake up moody, exhausted, feels like I didn't really sleep, anxious, feels like I had a lot of alcohol.
Significant other says I snore a lot, although when asked about interruptions in my breath, she couldn't say.
I have a deviated septum I partially corrected with surgery , lots of rhinitis and some sinusitis, although most of rhe time my nose breathing is perfect.
A CT Scan said I have a thickening of a tissue at the base of my tongue/tonsils common in Obstructive sleep apnea.
