Should I try CPAP? AHI 0.8, RDI 12

30y/o M, 21 BMI. I've had poor sleep and experienced daytime fatigue for as long as a I can remember. I routinely sleep 10-12 hours per night and still feel tired and have to nap throughout the day. I snore a lot. Sometimes when I'm lightly napping (kind of half sleeping but still somewhat conscious), I catch myself not breathing and it wakes me up. I should also mention that I don't necessarily breathe well when I'm awake either. Sometimes I'll be focused on something and forget to breathe or breathe very shallow - I have to consciously remind my self to take some deep breaths. Not a surprise since I'm always stressed and anxious (something I'm working on).

I had a sleep study and got an AHI of 0.8 and RDI of 12. The doctor said this might be UARS. There were no large occurrences where I was gasping for air or had a large oxygen desaturation, but instead lots of small occurrences kept waking me up. I've ordered a mouth piece to try out, but if that doesn't work, should I try CPAP/BiPAP?
