Allergies are killing me

I’m a 22 yo female who was diagnosed with sleep apnea at 21. I’ve had my CPAP since about August last year. For this I should also mention I’m epileptic.

I technically live in two states: MD and TN. When I’m in TN, everything is perfect. I can breathe beautifully and my machine always makes me feel super refreshed. As a result, I have little to no seizure activity.

For some reason, idk why yet, but whenever I’m at my house in MD, my allergies get super bad. They get so bad to the point I literally can’t wear my CPAP because I’m so stuffy. Due to my epilepsy I can’t use over the counter relief meds because they interact with my seizure meds. As a result, my time in Maryland is spent taking naps to avoid too many seizures and to try to feel a little more rested.

I’ve seen an allergist and she put me on montelukast, but I don’t think it’s working. I still sneeze and blow my nose all the time, to the point my family gets irritated. I should note this really only happens in my home.

What can I do? I’ve cleaned my air ducts. I have pets, but I don’t get allergies from them in TN. What else could be causing these horrible allergies?
