Are there any oral devices designed to just keep your mouth shut?

I recently had MMA surgery with seemingly little benefit, still need to have a sleep study. I still have braces as a result of the surgery. I was instructed to use elastics when going to bed for jaw alignment. With one elastic a side I still open my mouth when I sleep. The last few of nights I doubled the elastics each side and this kept my mouth shut. To my surprise I've had much better sleep the last few nights doing this and I want a long-term solution to keeping my mouth shut while sleeping.

I have one chinstrap but remove it during the night. I have tried the denture strips which keeps my lips closed but my jaw still droops with that method and don't notice any sleep benefit when doing that.

I'm probably going to buy another chinstrap but what I'd really like is a oral appliance meant to keep the mouth closed. I'm not sure if that is possible though as how would it prevent the lower jaw from opening? I imagined a two piece magnetic oral device but that doesn't seem to exist. Just seeing if there are any suggestions before buying another chinstrap.
