CPAP / COVID comment

A specialist medical professional on LBC - Ian Dale show, just now, answered various questions from Dale and the general public. One of which was around the use of a CPAP being effective in reducing COVID symptoms. He said yes, this is very much an effective way of reducing symptoms since it relieves pressure and fills the lungs with much needed breathing space.

I had read many people saying this is NOT a form of any kind of treatment and will not make a difference.

I can speak from experience of having a persistent cough of late - all fine now btw. And when I used my CPAP, I did not cough once.

We are strangely fortunate to own this machine. For more reasons than one.
