I’ve got a herbst device I use nightly. It broke two nights ago and seems as though getting a new one is going to take me awhile navigating insurance and appointments especially in the current environment. This makes a huge difference in my quality of life - without it my wife is waking up because of my gasping and weird noise making.
I can’t figure out how to post a pic, but basically the screw sheared off/pulled out. It doesn’t seem fixable, but maybe someone here has tried it before? I may try with a dab of Bondo or something strong as the risk seems far outweighed by the harm of not sleeping for the near future.
