I ordered the oventus dental brace after failing with cpap for my UARS (RDI >18). I have congestion which made it impossible to fall asleep with the nasal mask and mouth masks were uncomfortable.
With the dental brace, I have not been able to get to sleep. its somewhat painful at first, feels like braces, but the extra saliva in my mouth is keeping me up and dripping out whenever I turn over. I use it for 2 hours then give up.
How long did it take you to get used to your dental brace?
