Sleep-Onset Apnea/ Transitional Apnea

Has anyone else dealt with apneas only when they’re falling asleep. Once I’m asleep I have no problems sleeping, but EVERY.. SINGLE.. TIME.. I try to go to sleep whether it’s a nap or bedtime I stop breathing and it’s so fucking frustrating. I’m writing this at 12:31am and have been trying to fall asleep since 8pm. I’ve done some research and an article said sleep-onset apnea is part of a normal sleep cycle, but I know that’s bullshit when I can physically feel the strain on my heart and I’m not going to pretend it’s normal while my health deteriorates over time. There’s so much information on OSA and CSA, but hardly any on sleep-onset apnea and I just want to bring awareness to help others in my situation. I already had a sleep test and I remember that night I fell asleep quite easily surprisingly. Since my problem is only during sleep onset I didn’t have any apneas throughout the night so I was declared not having sleep apnea. Forgive me if this post is condescending but I’m tired and I’m asking for help. I’m 21m, weigh 140lb, 5’9” and work out every day.
